PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION FOR FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a common, yet misunderstood condition. It is reversible but without appropriate and timely treatment, it can be debilitating.

 

The mind and the body are intricately connected and recovery from FND needs to be as individualised as the symptoms themselves. I use a variety of psychology methods to help you feel heard and validated.

In an audit of my FND clinical work, approximately 75% of clients experienced a positive outcome from psychological rehabilitation. This includes people with symptom resolution and people who have some symptoms, but have a better quality of life and have returned to work or education. 

 

I bring not only my clinical expertise but also a lived experience perspective as someone who has recovered from FND.

 

Please note that I only provide psychological rehabilitation for people with a diagnosis of FND.
